Talk about a productive summer. Ohio State theater PhD candidate Francesca Spedalieri is one of the students from a variety of fields who have been involved in the development of HOUSE / DIVIDED, a theater show by New York's The Builders Association exploring the foreclosure crisis by way of John Steinbeck's The Grapes of Wrath. Spedalieri traveled to New York in July to participate in the Builders' residency at the Baryshnikov Arts Center—and she became an assistant director of the show in the process. Not bad. She will be with the Builders when they return to Columbus for their final residency Labor Day weekend, and nearly every day thereafter, leading up to the world premiere of the show here October 6–8. Read about her New York experiences on the Creative Campus website.
