Documenting the process of DIY: Collective

Fri, Oct 5, 2012

DIY: Collective is not your typical summer program. This July, ten 16-to-21 year old Wexner Center–program alumni undertook a two-week residency to conceptualize the Wex’s new education space. Honing in on the design challenge, students drafted proposals for teen-friendly floor plans, entryway art, and lounge furniture. The above video, by Cincinnati-based filmmaker April Martin, documents their process. A full (21-minute) version can be found here.
