califone Califone, at the Wexner Center Nov. 21

Apparently, we're not the only ones who love Califone (at the Wex November 21). Yesterday, Pitchfork bestowed an 8.7 upon their just-released seventh album, Roots and Crowns. (Read the full review here or listen to their gorgeous cover of Psychic TV's The Orchids for a sample). 42 days and counting...

p.s.- Califone's Jim Becker (above, third from left) composed the music for the film Interkosmos, showing Oct. 27 at the Wexner Center.
