Ohio Short Going Green

Tue, Mar 23, 2010

Prentiss Haney was one of our Wexner Center/Cardinal Health PSA finalists in the youth division of the 2009 Ohio Short Film and Video Showcase (now called Ohio Shorts for, uh, short).  We're pleased to report that another video work of his (created at his school, incorporating classmates and their work) has been selected out of hundreds of national entries to be a finalist in the America's Greenest Schools Initiative. The top winner will receive a hybrid electric bus for their school, along with monies for green initiatives.  Visit the site to learn more, see his piece, and vote for the only Ohio finalist (look for the Stivers School of the Arts entry). The Wex and Cardinal Health partner to encourage youth to apply their artistic talent to make the world a better place. Congratulations Prentiss!
