State Fare Cell Phone Tour

Thu, May 31, 2007

In a first for the Wexner Center, gallery patrons can now hear audio descriptions—direct from the artists—of selected works in State Fare: Three Ohio Artists, by simply using their cell phones. That's right, no clunky headphones or complicated menus to sort through, just simply dial (408) 794-0875 while you're in the gallery (or not—the descriptions are live 24/7) and follow the prompts to get started. Download a cell phone tour guide here, or listen to the descriptions as a podcast here. Listen to State Fare artists Mark Harris, Tracy Featherstone, and Rain Harris talk about their own works. Frances Strickland, Ohio's First Lady, and Wexner Center Director Sherri Geldin offer introductory comments.
