Mon, Nov 23, 2009

Last week, the Columbus Society of Communicating Arts (CSCA) held its annual Creative Best Awards ceremony at Arena Grand Theater. We're proud to congratulate Director of Design Chris Jones and designers Erica Anderson and Todd Timney, who were recognized for their work in the past year.

After the jump, learn more about the work that garnered the praise.

Erica won the Best of Category (print), and Judge's Choice awards for her catalogue on Robin Rhode's Catch Air exhibition.

Todd won the Best of Category (environmental) award for the Warhol bus shelter that caught many an eye during Other Voices, Other Rooms last year.  Timney also won an Award of Merit (print) for the Luc Tuymans gallery guide.

Chris won an Award of Merit (print) for the UCLA Film and Television Archive Festival of Preservation brochure.

The Ohio State Advanced Computing Center for the Arts and Design (ACCAD) also took home a Best of Category (interactive), and Judge's Choice awards for their Synchronous Objects project (in conjunction with last year's Forsythe exhibition).  Congrats to all those who were recognized at the Creative Best awards show.
