Winter/Spring 2014 Preview

It’s cold. This is hot. Get your seats now.

This winter at the Wex, get ready for the culmination of Via Brasil—the Wexner Center's multiyear initiative focusing on the vibrant culture of Brazil. Against the backdrop of our Cruzamentos: Contemporary Art in Brazil exhibition, you’ll see contemporary dance direct from the favelas with Companhia Urbana de Dança…master percussionist Cyro Baptista’s exotic jazz…Brazilian hip-hop sensation Criolo…an expansive and never-before-assembled Cruzamentos: Contemporary Brazilian Documentary series. But it’s not all Brazil…new work by cellist Erik Friedlander with photographer Mitch Epstein…the return of our Off The Grid party…a retrospective of newly restored films by controversial Italian director Pier Paolo Pasolini…newly commissioned work by Wex favorite Young Jean Lee…an evening of electronic music and visuals with Oneohtrix Point Never…and, later this spring, an exhibition from comics master Daniel Clowes.

Member presale runs December 1–11.
