Repeats every day until Tue Aug 31 2010 .

Cinema italiano comes to the Box in a project from Flatform, an artists’ collective based in Milan.

In this study of time and memory, twelve individuals walk the same route four times within a day, attempting to repeat their previous movements identically. Day turns into night and back again as the individuals continue forward unaware of the distortion of time or the changing props and occupants of the setting. (5 mins., video)

The artists of Flatform have worked together since 2006. 57.600 seconds premiered at the Rotterdam International Film Festival in 2009. A previous piece by the group, Sunday, 6th April, 11:42 a.m. (2008), screened in the Box in July 2009.
