And Everything Is Going Fine provides an intimate portrait of brilliant playwright and actor Spalding Gray, as described by his most critical, irreverent, and insightful biographer: himself.

Gray was best known for his dazzling and personal monologues, an art form all his own. Director Steven Soderbergh, who collaborated with Gray on the film Gray's Anatomy, has sifted through 25 years of rare and revealing footage to create Gray's final monologue. The result is an inspired one-man show that serves as one last bittersweet display of Gray's playful and embattled intelligence and his gift for tracking universal truths by looking himself squarely in the eye.

Over the course of his career, Gray performed at the Wexner Center four times, from our inaugural 1989–90 season to his final visit in February 2001, three years before his death. (89 mins., video)
