The Box

As part of the Wexner Center’s 25th anniversary, The Box is dedicating the entire year of programming to work produced in the Film/Video Studio. Screenings in this free exhibition space for video, located just across from the Wexner Center Store, run continuously seven days a week, the same hours as our ticket office (Mon–Wed: 9 AM–6 PM; Thu–Fri: 9 AM–8 PM; Sat: 10 AM–8 PM; Sun: 11 AM–6 PM).

See the world from a "bird's-eye view"--literally. Or check out the viewpoints of buffalo, wolves, frogs, and tumbleweed in Sam Easterson's Animal-Cams. Here's what one OSU staff member has to say: "A coworker and I went to see the Animal-Cams yesterday and can't wait to go back for the few minutes we missed. We loved it!"

Made over the past ten years, this collection of short videos explores the unique perspective of animals and plants. They are both stars and cinematographers in these humorous and thought-provoking works. Based in San Francisco, Easterson has exhibited at museums including the Whitney Museum of American Art (New York), the Walker Art Center (Minneapolis), the International Center of Photography (New York), and the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (Mass MOCA, North Adams). The Measure of All Things

Filmmaker Sam Green will narrate his "live documentary" The Measure of All Things (with a live soundtrack provided by the Quavers) on Saturday, April 18.
