This first film in a series focused on national memorials offers a unique perspective on memory, movement, and the significance of place. Filmed outside the hotel where Martin Luther King, Jr., was assassinated, WHEN: Memphis documents the seemingly mundane flow of visitors to the memorial site—and the varied responses each individual brings to the space.
