Pioneering animator and Waking Life art director Bob Sabiston visits the Wexner Center to discuss his work. During his visit to the Wexner Center in February 2000, Richard Linklater screened a sample of "preanimated" footage from his now-acclaimed film Waking Life (2001). Bob Sabiston, the art director for Waking Life, created the software that made possible the film's unforgettable marriage of digital video and experimental animation.

An animator since 1988, Sabiston's work has appeared in such programs as MTV's Liquid Television (which screened his 1990 film Grinning Evil Death). He was also the animation director for the PBS series Figures of Speech.

Tonight Sabiston discusses clips from Waking Life and past work including Snack and Drink (1999) and Yard (2002). Program approx. 90 mins.
