Bonjour Tristesse stars Jean Seberg and David Niven as a free-spirited daughter and playboy father who enjoy an unconventional relationship (to say the least). When Niven’s old flame Deborah Kerr comes to stay with them on the Riviera, Seberg pulls out all the stops to drive them apart, with tragic results. Jean-Luc Godard said Seberg’s character in Breathless was a continuation of this role. (94 mins, 2K DCP) Based on the Tony Award-winning musical, Bye Bye Birdie is the story of rock and roll star and teen idol Conrad Birdie (inspired by Elvis Presley) who travels to Sweet Apple, Ohio, for a televised farewell concert before he is conscripted into the Army. Starring Ann-Margret, Janet Leigh, Dick Van Dyke, Paul Lynde, and Jesse Pearson as Conrad. The opening title song sequence with Ann-Margret was featured on a past episode of Mad Men. (112 mins., 2K DCP)
