Town and gown meet and overlap in the University District, the most densely populated area in Columbus.

The Wexner Center’s own location at the gateway to The Ohio State University makes it an ideal venue for the theatrical premiere of Columbus Neighborhoods: University District. The film examines historical and contemporary patterns and developments in this area, which is also home to nearly 650 businesses, churches, schools, and social agencies. Columbus Neighborhoods: University District is part of WOSU's ongoing series of programs profiling some of our city's vibrant neighborhoods.

One of the neighborhoods that is part of the University District and so featured in the film is Weinland Park, which became a kind of touchstone for multimedia theater company The Builders Association during the development of House / Divided, their latest production co-commissioned by the Wexner Center. Find out more about this community while watching Columbus Neighborhoods: University District, then see HOUSE / DIVIDED in performances that run October 6 to 8.
