Visiting Filmmakers

Today’s most engaging and inventive directors, producers, and film professionals join us to introduce their work and answer questions after most screenings.

Wed, Feb 22, 2012 7 PM

Award-winning animator Don Hertzfeldt makes his first trip to the Wexner Center to introduce a program of his one-of-a-kind shorts (in new 35mm prints!).

Among the featured works is It’s such a beautiful day (2011), the last in a trilogy that also includes Everything will be OK (2006) and I am so proud of you (2008). Hertzfeldt’s body of work has inspired nothing short of a cult following, attracted to his often dark sense of humor and traditional approaches to animation. Hertzfeldt also created The Animation Show with Beavis and Butt-head creator Mike Judge in 2003. (program app. 90 mins., 35mm)

Join us before the film for a drink in the café lobby. A cash bar, serving beer and wine, will be available starting at 6 PM to enhance your pre-film discussions.

Please note special prices.
