El Bulli is a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at the Spanish restaurant many have hailed as the world’s most influential eatery for its inventive rethinking of fine dining. (El Bulli closed in the summer of 2011.)

Employing a direct, cinema verité style, the filmmakers follow chef Ferran Adrià and his staff through the six months it took to design and create the menu for the 2008‒09 season. (108 mins., video)

Join us before and after the film for a drink in the café lobby. A cash bar, serving beer and wine, will be available from 6:30 to 10 PM to enhance your pre and post-film discussions.
