Lilli Carré & Alexander Stewart  IN PERSON

Acclaimed artist/animators Lilli Carré and Alexander Stewart present a program of their short experimental animations, created both individually and as a team, including Crux Film (2013), Here There (2015), Jill (2016), and Tap Water (2017). Carré and Stewart are cofounders of the Eyeworks Festival of Experimental Animation, and their films have screened around the world at such venues as the Ottawa International Animation Festival, Sundance Film Festival, Ann Arbor Film Festival, and Rotterdam International Film Festival. Carré was also the Columbus Museum of Arts’ 2014 Graphic Novelist Resident. (Program approx. 90 mins., film & video)

Participating organizations in this year’s Cartoon Crossroads Columbus include Ohio State’s Billy Ireland Cartoon Library & Museum, Columbus College of Art & Design, Columbus Museum of Art, and Columbus Metropolitan Library.
