Enjoy two Buster Keaton classics!

One of the most beloved films ever made, The General is set during the Civil War and finds Buster Keaton as the conductor (of a train known as the General) who must travel behind enemy lines to recover his train after Union soldiers steal it. Filled with hilarious sight gags and thrilling train chases! (90 mins., 35mm) The High Sign, Keaton's first independent two-reeler, takes his character to a carnival arcade where he manages to be hired as both the bodyguard and the assassin of the same man.

Please note: In the event of rain or other inclement weather, the screenings will move inside the Wexner Center. The Wex Drive-in series are "anchor events" for this summer's Campus Hops, which encourage community members to sample the cultural events and entertainment available along High Street in the University District. The Campus Hop is a cooperative effort of Campus Partners, Ohio State's College of the Arts, the Ohio Union, Summit United Methodist Church, South Campus Gateway, University Community Business Association, and the Wexner Center.
