Half Moon follows a revered, aging Kurdish musician as he tries to lead his many sons on a trip to Iraq for a concert to celebrate the fall of Saddam Hussein and the end of the repression of Kurdish music.

From the director of A Time for Drunken Horses and Marooned in Iraq, the film is set in the rugged landscape of Iranian Kurdistan and alternates between moments of absurdist comedy and horrible brutality as the group travels to Iraq. (114 mins. 35mm)
