The Box

As part of the Wexner Center’s 25th anniversary, The Box is dedicating the entire year of programming to work produced in the Film/Video Studio. Screenings in this free exhibition space for video, located just across from the Wexner Center Store, run continuously seven days a week, the same hours as our ticket office (Mon–Wed: 9 AM–6 PM; Thu–Fri: 9 AM–8 PM; Sat: 10 AM–8 PM; Sun: 11 AM–6 PM).

Catch the best of this year’s Ohio Shorts Youth Division!

This month’s program highlights the prize-winning entries from our annual festival of video made by Ohio youth. Ranging from stop-motion animation to “mockumentary” to experimental, these shorts offer just a taste of the talent and creativity of Buckeye youths. The program features prize-winning projects by Tanner Stevens (1st prize), Julia Green (2nd prize), Alfred C. Taylor (3rd prize), and Olivia Smith (honorable mention). (app. 15 mins., video)

The program begins playing at approximately 5 PM on December 1 and concludes on December 30 (since the Wex is closed on December 31.

Man with a Movie Camera

Be here Monday, September 14 as Alloy Orchestra takes the stage in our Film/Video Theater to accompany a restoration of Dziga Vertov’s Man with a Movie Camera.
