Jesus, You Know is a startling and uniquely involving documentary portrait of six Catholics seeking spiritual guidance from God.
From Austria, Jesus, You Know is a startling and uniquely involving documentary portrait of six Catholics—all self-professed sinners to varying degrees. Shown in the act of seeking spiritual guidance from God, the six speak directly to the camera (with intercutting to the cavernous churches, religious art, and iconography surrounding them). Each of the believers is immersed "in the incredibly private act of prayer, turning the cinema into a confessional," as the Toronto Film Festival catalogue noted. (87 mins.)
