In this delightful animated film, a nonconformist worker bee flees from her colony to go on a journey of self-discovery—but when she uncovers a dastardly plot against her queen, she realizes that she’s the only one who can save the hive! A terrific film for our youngest audiences, featuring a story about acceptance, individuality, and growing up. (89 mins., Blu-ray)

This film screens in the lobby of Mershon Auditorium in a handmade, cardboard cinema environment created by artists Julian McFaul and his Adventures in Cardboard team along with help from kids and families participating in our free Zoom Family Studio activity. Space is limited for our Adventures in Cardboard screenings and seating is on a first-come, first-served basis—so arrive early for this screening!
