Milestones in Disney Animation

This program of beloved classic cartoons from the Disney Archive features a number of firsts and other examples of the studio’s early dedication to advancing the art form of animation. Among the titles in the program are Flowers and Trees (1932, the first Technicolor cartoon), The Wise Little Hen (1934, the first appearance of Donald Duck), The Old Red Mill (1937, the first use of Disney’s Multiplane camera), and Toot, Whistle, Plunk, and Boom (1953, the studio’s first film in CinemaScope).
