Voted the Best Foreign Film of the 1970s by an international poll of film critics and one of the most talked-about films of that decade, the witty and perceptive My Night at Maud's is the film that catapulted Eric Rohmer (1920–2010), one of the founding members of the French New Wave, to international fame.

The film follows the dilemma of Jean-Louis, a devout Catholic (Jean-Louis Trintignant, in one of his greatest roles), as he is torn between a blonde woman that he sees at church and a lively intellectual, Maude. (110 mins., 35mm)
