Set in Paris during the 1987 trial of Nazi war criminal Klaus Barbie, One Day You'll Understand is the engrossing story of a half-Jewish businessman who discovers his father may have had ties to the notorious figure in the dock. His mother, played by screen icon Jeanne Moreau, prefers to keep the past buried and resists her son's efforts to complete their family history at every turn.
