Valentine's Day Classic!
New 35mm Print! Francis Ford Coppola, 1982

wex grid image fill

Coppola's minor masterpiece of bittersweet lyricism recreates the backstreets of Las Vegas entirely in a studio, aided by Tom Waits's Oscar-winning score. One from the Heart (101 mins.) follows a couple (Frederic Forrest and Terri Garr) who break up and make up on the Fourth of July. It's a technically innovative, one-of-a-kind musical that Coppola envisioned as a relief from the realities of Apocalypse Now. With Nastassia Kinski, Raul Julia, and Harry Dean Stanton.
