In 1993, revered German artist Anselm Kiefer left his home country for La Ribaute, an abandoned silk factory in the south of France where he began creating a series of bizarre installations that came to resemble a sprawling village. Shot in Cinemascope, Over Your Cities bears witness to Kiefer’s alchemical creative process, capturing the massive, personal universe he has built at his studio estate in a remarkable film journey.
