The great contemporary choreographer Pina Bausch died just as Wim Wenders was preparing a documentary on her incredible life and career. Convinced to proceed with the film by Bausch’s company as a tribute, Wenders records a selection of some of her best-known pieces in vivid 3D while also capturing moving remembrances by her dancers.
