Ernst Lubitsch's The Shop around the Corner stars Jimmy Stewart and Margaret Sullavan as squabbling coworkers in a small Budapest gift shop who don't realize they are each other's romantic pen pals. The film was remade as In the Good Old Summertime (1949), with Judy Garland, and later as You've Got Mail (1998), with Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks. (99 mins.)
