Ohio State grad Justin Zimmerman returns to the Wex with a must-see doc for anyone with a soft spot for animals. SMART follows Armando Navarrete and his Los Angeles–based Specialized Mobile Animal Rescue Team as they save cats, dogs, pumas, cows, and horses—often in death-defying situations—and navigate the city’s overwhelmed animal shelter system.
