As part of Cinevent 34, the Wexner Center is cosponsoring a special presentation of crowd-pleasing classics. Please note special screening time.

The comic team of Wheeler and Woolsey star as vaudevillians on safari in Eddie Cline's notorious So This Is Africa. The film is filled with sexual double-entendres, despite the fact it was heavily censored to meet Production Code standards. (1933; 65 mins.)

The Busby Berkeley dazzler The Gang's All Here is a wartime musical featuring the talents of Carmen Miranda, Alice Faye, and Benny Goodman and his Orchestra. "The Polka Dot Polka" finale is not to be missed. (1943; 103 mins.)

Also on the bill is Charley Chase in Del Lord's hilarious Man Bites Lovebug, a rare two-reeler from Columbia Pictures. (1937; 18 mins.)

Cinevent is an annual Memorial Day weekend event offering classic film screenings and vintage movie memorabilia sales. All other Cinevent activities are held at the Ramada Plaza Hotel and Conference Center. For registration and ticket information about other Cinevent screenings, please call 614 229-3555 or visit the Cinevent web site.
