SOLD OUT! HBO's Project Greenlight film The Battle of Shaker Heights

Get the inside scoop on screenwriter Erica Beeney's Ohio-to-Hollywood saga. The Wexner Center's 12∫ Circle members group presents this special screening of HBO's Project Greenlight movie. Beeney hosts a reception at 6 pm before the screening, introduces the film, and will stay for a question and answer session afterwards.

SORRY, THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT. Tickets are no longer available. You've followed screenwriter Erica Beeney's adventures in Hollywood on HBO's Project Greenlight series this summer. Now you can see the results in the Ohio premiere of The Battle of Shaker Heights. The former OSU creative writing student and Wexner Center graduate associate left Columbus last winter to dive into production on this independent filmÛand on the HBO reality series (backed by Ben Affleck and Matt Damon) chronicling its making.

A coming-of-age story about a young war reenactor, The Battle of Shaker Heights was written by Beeney, winner of the Project Greenlight Screenplay Contest, and directed by Kyle Rankin and Efram Potelle, winners of the Project Greenlight Director Contest. The interactions among the three and the rest of the film's creative and technical team powered the hit HBO series. Tonight Beeney introduces the film behind it all, answers your questions, and mingles with the audience at a reception preceding the screening.

Member tickets presale for the event begins August 5. Tickets go on sale to the general public August 11.
