Zoom: Family Film Festival

Each year the Wex brings families and film fans a long weekend of incredible movies for all ages: fiction and documentary, live action and animation, features and shorts, American-made and international, contemporary and classic. Fun activities and events are also part of the schedule, often involving special guests, hands-on projects, and even tasty refreshments.

Fri, Nov 29, 2013 1 PM

Avoid the Black Friday blues with this special afternoon program of five shorts by the slap-happiest slapstick team in movie history—the Three Stooges. Featuring all the eye-poking, face-slapping, and head-knocking mayhem that made the Stooges an American institution of high-spirited comedy, this program will have audiences young and old nyucking it up with Larry, Moe, and Curly! The program includes Three Little Pigskins (1934), False Alarms (1936), From Nurse to Worse (1940), Even as IOU (1942), and Busy Buddies (1944). (app. 85 mins., 35mm)
