"A rollicking techno-music-fueled backpacker odyssey."--East Bay Express

Three Israeli 20-somethings concoct an aphrodisiac called Total Love (84 mins.), and their adventures in minor-league recreational drug peddling take them from Israel to Amsterdam to India as they're swept up in the world of backpacking global wanderers. While many "drug films" focus on violence and betrayal, this one shows a charming, far-reaching quest for true love within the trance scene, a phenomenon pursued nowhere more eagerly than among Israeli youth.

Postscreening discussion led by Matt Goldish, Department of History, and Michael Swartz, Department of Near Eastern Languages and Cultures.

International films presented with support from the Ohio Arts Council.
