Two for the Road
Valentine's Day Special Stanley Donen, 1967

Many classic films are just as powerful today as when they were first released. We add such films from many genres to our schedule throughout the season. Many are shown on the occasion of their rereleases, in fresh, new or restored prints.

"Arguably Stanley Donen's masterpiece, and undoubtedly one of the most stylistically influential films of the 60s."--Dave Kehr, Chicago Reader

Back for the fourth time by viewer request, Two for the Road is a perennial Valentine's Day favorite, even though it casts a cold eye on the institution of marriage.

The film stars Albert Finney and Audrey Hepburn, whose fantastic wardrobe of 60s haute couture helps make this one of the decade's most stylish comedies. With Jacqueline Bisset, William Daniels, Eleanor Bron, and a score by Henry Mancini. (112 mins.)
