Classics

Many classic films are just as powerful today as when they were first released. We add such films from many genres to our schedule throughout the season. Many are shown on the occasion of their rereleases, in fresh, new or restored prints.

Featuring one of the actor’s most unhinged performances, the cult horror-comedy Vampire’s Kiss stars Nicolas Cage as a literary agent whose pursuit of success pushes his mental health to the brink. After meeting a woman (Jennifer Beals) at a bar, he takes her home where she sinks her teeth into his neck. As the woman returns night after night to feed, the agent’s behavior grows more and more erratic as he is convinced he has become a creature of the night. (103 mins., 35mm)
