Alice in Wonderland meets Pee Wee's Playhouse in these three installments of Whispering Pines, a series of videos that follows the bizarre adventures of Cynthia, played by an admitted alter-ego of Shana Moulton.

Over the episodes, Cynthia dabbles in New Age healing, deep cleanses her pores, ikebana (the Japanese art of flower arranging), and imbibes a potent but sugar-free dose of Crystal Light. The works culminate in the discovery of the path to a parallel universe in the ceiling of her candy-colored living room. Moulton's lo-fi video effects and strangely earnest pop culture references add to the surreal experience. (18 mins., video courtesy of Electronic Arts Intermix, New York)
