Join us for a student-only conversation with the Quay Brothers. Pioneering filmmakers, and identical twins, best known for their stop-motion animated films (The Epic of Gilgamesh, 1985; Street of Crocodiles, 1986; and many others), the Quay Brothers have also produced an astonishingly diverse body of work in graphic design, commercials, music videos, feature films, and a host of other media-based creations. The brothers, who are based in London, are recipients of the Wexner Center Artist Residency Award in film/video for 2013–14. They will be working in residence in the Film/Video Studio in October, putting the finishing touches on their latest short film, Unmistaken Hands: Ex Voto F.H., which will premiere on Saturday, November 2.
This conversation is free, but an RSVP is required.
