"A new shooting star."--Frankfurter Allgemeine

Akram Khan's almagamation of contemporary movement and traditional Asian forms has thrilled the European dance scene.

Britain's Akram Khan has electrified audiences as he seamlessly juxtaposes supple lyricism, stillness, and kinetic explosiveness. Just as he melds new dance styles with traditional South Asian Kathak forms, he also draws on music by such innovators as Nitin Sawhney, who are also exploring vanguard means to reflect their cultural heritage.

We are pleased to host the U.S. debut of Akram Khan, where you will see the program the Glasgow Herald called "thrillingly graceful and uplifting to watch."
