Bright Eyes With Gillian Welch and Oakley Hall

wex grid image fill

The shoot-for-the-stars Omaha indie ensemble fronted by prolific songster Conor Oberst returns with horns and a strings section to capture the sound of the upcoming album Cassadaga.

The album features soaring orchestral arrangements alongside its alt-country core. Cassadaga takes its title from a Florida enclave filled with spiritualists and psychics where Oberst took refuge to recharge as he wrote material for the album. Also appearing on the bill are singer Gillian Welch, a guest artist on Cassadaga, and Oakley Hall, a rising honky-tonk folk-rock band from Brooklyn.
