"Dazzling to the eye and ear."—The Age, Melbourne This many-layered multimedia theater production explores Digital Age anxieties, revealing the hidden realms of technological surveillance and the ways our identities are shaped and reshaped as "data bodies."

Each and every time you swipe your credit card, chat online, or cross international borders, your data body grows to become a virtual identity that can swiftly and covertly take precedence over your mere mortal self. Exactly how do we relate to the growing cloud of data that surrounds us and others?

Utilizing sophisticated computer technology and advanced design concepts, SUPER VISION charts the story of three characters who find themselves caught in this confounding, contemporary web. The Builders Association—the ensemble who brought you the Obie Award-winning Alladeen—team up with digital imaging studio dbox to create the prescient production, which was launched with a creative residency sponsored by the Wexner Center and Ohio State's Advanced Computing Center for the Arts and Design. You'll be amazed by the production's sophisticated computer graphics and video effects, striking lighting and set, electronic soundscapes, and sharp acting as the show's digital era realities are mirrored with multilayered narratives.
