"CVR is about the triumph of the human spirit, and calm in the middle of chaos."--New York Times We are pleased to bring the outstanding documentary theater production Charlie Victor Romeo to Columbus, rescheduled from its previously announced dates in late September.

Charlie Victor Romeo is international code for Cockpit Voice Recorder, and the text of this award-winning hit (2000 Drama Desk Award among others) is based on actual transcripts of black box recorders from airplanes that crashed due to accidents or human error. A sensation since its debut in Collective: Unconscious's funky East Village theater, CVR is a riveting, live techno-thriller where you'll witness the cockpit perspective of real in-flight emergencies and the tense teamwork of dedicated aviation professionals under duress.

As documentary theater, it offers a fascinating portrait of the psychology of crisis and the will to live.

The production has been filmed as a training tool by both the Pentagon and West Point and endorsed by commercial aviation professionals, emergency medical workers, and fire fighters for its veracity in depicting those who confront crisis.

Respected for its sensitive yet uncolored truthfulness, warmly received by audiences and critics in the theater world (where it sold out an eight-month run), CVR's broad impact attests to its special achievement and resonant power. You'll leave with vivid insights about the lives of the individuals behind the cockpit door.

The cast of Charlie Victor Romeo will be available for a question and answer session at the conclusion of each performance.
