“Chaotic, percussive, theatrical…their show…was pure adrenaline rush.”—philly.com

Philadelphia-based band Man Man return to the Wex to delight their many fans with new music from their newly released album On Oni Pond, produced by Saddle Creek veteran Mike Mogis. With roots in vanguard rock from the likes of Captain Beefheart and Frank Zappa, as well as nods to such past masters of freewheeling orchestrated exploration as Sun Ra and Raymond Scott, Man Man always deliver a fun-filled evening surging with energy and surprising sonic twists.

Xenia Rubinos, whose music the Chicago Reader called "visceral, danceable noise-pop… [with] energy and immediacy [that's] so strange and alien I haven't been able to get my head around it," will open the show.
