"A mind-bending odyssey...a truly one-of-a-kind sonic imprint."
Spin on Secret Machines

Check out artrock trio The Secret Machines at their Columbus debut.

Experimentalist artrock trio The Secret Machines left Dallas for Brooklyn to perfect the shape-shifting riffs that have instantly propelled them onto indie playlists coast-to-coast. Their debut release, Now Here Is Nowhere (pictured), neatly balances their spacier inclinations with propulsive monster beats and pure rock crunch.

Local band Diet opens the show. One of Columbus Alive's "bands to watch in 2004," Diet utilizes the traditional three-piece rock structure augmented by a fourth member mixing sample-driven sequences that range from hip-hop to the glitchy beats of IDM (Intelligent Dance Music).
