"Mills cuts to the chase...she mobilizes large groups of dancers to tear at your heart."--Village Voice

Get ready for an exhilarating program with recent works created by Ohio State alum Tiffany Mills and maverick composer John Zorn. Young New York-based choreographer and Ohio State dance grad Tiffany Mills returns to her alma mater with a program featuring three recent works created with maverick composer John Zorn.

Elegy, which features a video installation by award-winning filmmaker Ela Troyano, creates a fragile world of shadows and split personalities where flowers and violence coexist. In the feisty quartet Goetia, performers fly through the air with strong bold gestures and fluid form. Back Stage praised its "fast, intelligent interplay between sounds and choreography." The program concludes with a preview of a Mills/Zorn work-in-progress that will further demonstrate the hip, smart synchronicity they have developed to date.
