“As wonderfully charming as they are fresh and unexpected.”—L magazine

New York City buzzband Vampire Weekend have caused a considerable stir with their live shows and digital EP, and their debut CD is soon due on the mighty XL imprint that won the right to sign the quartet. Rippling guitar lines and quirky cross-rhythms inspired by classic Afro-pop underscore their catchy tunes with lyrical twists. Here’s one that’s in sync with their unabashed preppie vibe: “Can you stay up to see the dawn, in the colors of Benetton?” Hear what the ruckus is all about when Vampire Weekend liven up Valentine’s Day.

Note: this show is standing only.
