"A compelling mix of sweet, candlelit laments and jagged hymns."--PITCHFORK Frontrunners of the neofolk scene alongside occasional collaborators Devendra Banhart and Joanna Newsom, Vetiver delivers fragile, beguiling acoustic songs that summon whimsical fairytale images--but with a few thorns visible among the flowers. Led by singer/songwriter Andy Cabic, the band charms with starry-eyed and sylvan odes that are equal parts quirky, tender, and warm.

Vetiver is touring to support the recent release of its second album, To Find Me Gone, released on Fat Cat Records. The album "showcases some of the new scene's best songwriting," according to the New York Times, which also called Vetiver's sound "gorgeously lyrical" in a June 18 article on the the "freak folk" movement. Lichens--a.k.a. Robert Lowe, a solo artist on Kranky Records--opens with a set of entrancing tunes.
