Nancy Kramer Appointed to Wexner Center Foundation Board

Mon, Feb 16, 2009

At its meeting February 3 at the Wexner Center for the Arts, the Wexner Center Foundation appointed Nancy Kramer, founder and CEO of Resource Interactive, to the board of trustees.

Over the last 28 years, Kramer has built Resource into an award-winning, nationally recognized digital marketing company. The Columbus-based firm’s client base contains some of the world’s most respected and recognized brands, including Apple, Hewlett-Packard, The Coca-Cola Company, L.L. Bean, and Wal-Mart. The firm also works with several of Ohio’s most prominent companies, including Procter & Gamble, Victoria’s Secret, Bath & Body Works, Wendy’s, Scotts Miracle-Gro, and Sherwin-Williams. Under Kramer’s leadership, Resource Interactive has achieved renown as an innovative thought leader in the interactive arena while focusing heavily on the evolving role of the internet-empowered consumer in today’s economy. Resource has also provided strategic assistance to the Wexner Center’s own web presence (wexarts.org) for nearly a decade, aiding in audience growth efforts with the development of new media tools.

Notes Leslie H. Wexner, chair of the Wexner Center Foundation board of trustees, “A highly respected leader in multiple fields locally and nationally, Nancy will add a fresh and dynamic voice to the table, with a background that underscores one of the core values and missions of the Wexner Center: innovation. We’re thrilled to have her on board.”

Kramer is an Ohio native and graduate of The Ohio State University, and has served on the board of directors for such organizations as CompeteColumbus; as Chair of The Wellington School Board of Trustees; and as Chair of the Governor’s Workforce Development Policy Advisory Board. Kramer has won several honors from Working Woman magazine and has been the recipient of numerous other awards, ranging from the Leadership in Technology Award by Linkage, to The State of Ohio Entrepreneur of the Year, to the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year. In 2006, she received the Governor’s Award for Women’s Excellence in Enterprise.
