New York artists Anthony Aziz and Sammy Cucher describe how their work addresses the expanding influence technology has in our lives.

Since the beginning of their collaboration in 1990, the two collaborating artists have been interested in creating visual metaphors for the ways new technologies affect us politically, socially, and psychologically. In their Interiors (1999-2000) and Chimera (1998-99) series, digitally manipulated photographs and sculptures play with the illusion of rooms and found objects wrapped in human skin.

The Future Technology: Media Arts and Culture Colloquium is presented by Ohio State's Department of Art's art and technology area and foundations program and cosponsored by the Wexner Center. The series is made possible with a grant from the Battelle Endowment for Technology and Human Affairs.
