Ohio Short Film and Video Showcase 2006

Celebrating our 20th anniversary with new short works by filmmakers and video artists from across the Buckeye state.

Submit your work for the Wexner Center's eleventh annual Ohio Short Film and Video Showcase. The deadline for entries is Friday, March 31, 2006. The showcase is intended to provide Ohio's independent media artists a chance to show their work in a theatrical setting before an audience. Last year's capacity crowd witnessed 12 short works by artists from across the state.

The 2006 showcase screening takes place on Saturday, May 13, at 7 PM in the Wexner Center Film/Video Theater.

Pieces must be independently produced, no longer than 20 minutes in length, and produced in Ohio within the last 18 months. Entries must be submitted on 1/2" VHS videotape, mini-DV, or DVD. (Any format of film or video may be screened at the showcase on May 13.) Only one entry per person. Works submitted to previous showcases will not be accepted.

Entries must be received by March 31.

Entries may also be dropped off at the Wexner Center's Ticket Office/Patron Services Desk on the entry level of the building during its regular hours.

Please note: There is also a Youth Division Showcase for producers ages 18 and younger.The Youth Division showcase screeening begins at 4:30 PM on May 13.
